That's a lot of lego's. I'm not interested in trading though I think you would have better luck getting the supplies you need if you contact a local radio or tv station, they love this kind of stuff.

Also I have to say soemthing I have run across "trolls" on other site forums and if you are one this is a really a low blow. Having had childhood leukemia myself, I find this extremly offensive and know you to be an aweful aweful person no one and I mean no one should ever use sick children as an excuse to gain profit for one self!!

On the other hand if this is legit go call a radio station seriously.

I have no interest in teaching my grandson to get something for nothing. If your heart is in it, then you should be willing to sacrifice for your cause. No radio or TV. Why chest-thump when doing good for others? This isn't about his own self-promotion (other than it will get his rank in scouts advanced- but this is definitely a worthwhile cause). HE is himself 4 years in remission, thus the choice of charities.

I should have added another option: D) If tragedy ever strikes either me or my family I hope the world turns its back on us. If my town is flooded or ravaged by wildfire, I hope FEMA and the Red Cross help someone else. I intend to flip off karma and get crushed by a falling piano one day.

lol. Well, what im trying to say is that i could have chose "NO, BUT I WOULD LIKE TO", but i don't really think about doing that. if theres people collecting change for unicef or something, yeah I'd give them change if i had any, but i don't go looking for charities to give money to and i would never start one unless something terrible happened to me or someone i like.

I give all my spare change to whatever local charity is collecting, like a bone marrow recipient, family whose house burnt, etc. I also give to Disabled Vets, FOP, American Cancer Society, Easter Seals, March of Dimes, and about the only one I'll flat turn down every time is the damned Salvation Army! I'll shop at the overpriced second-hand stores, but the damned bells have got to go- and why the hell do they start another 2 weeks earlier every single year lately? I bet 25% of your donation or more goes to administrative costs with those bums. (That may explain the pricing of the donations in the second-hand stores!)

It's not always money, Darth. my charity projects have been things like renovating a theatre in a deprived area, helping out for a few weekends at a top secret goat sanctuary (You heard it folks) and helping at a kids club for children with social problems.

And get me lego, i think option D is a bit harsh... just because he doesn't feel the need to under take a massive project, doesn't make him a bad guy, with pooor karma...
