Funny thing, I never visited here for the videos. I always came to read the articles and the comments made by those who read them. The articles were always fun, and the comments cracked me up because of how serious people were in them. For many, it was less about sharing memories and stories, and more about passing a writing course. Almost to the point that you wondered if the "critics" even actually absorbed anything in the articles, or if they were just looking for discrepancies, grammatical errors, and complaining about too little or too many pictures.

Thankfully, that doesn't seem to be the case as much these days.

Back when you could see IP addresses as a moderator, I saw that RetroJerk was the alt of a writer for the site named LuckyHawk. LuckyHawk left compliments on people's articles that he liked...RetroJerk, on the other hand, was the Mr. Hyde to LuckyHawk's Dr. Jekyll. I actually thought that GaiaUser01, the user who closed his account that vkimo was referring to, was RetroJerk under a new name.
