Yeah I certainly can understand you. I was 5 when the NES came out and I didn't get one till 87 for x-mas. All through my childhood I played outside. Sure I had an Atari which still works by the way. I rode my scooter lol. Didn't ride a bike till I was a teen. :S But I played all the forms of tag tv tag , freeze tag , regular tag and whatever was in between. Me and my friends would explore this creek close to our house or play war with ketchup packets and everything. Hockey , football , baseball , basketball even tennis and soccer we would play. And I just don't know it seems that kids now just don't know how to enjoy themselves if it does charge or need to be plugged in or be battery operated. Its like pulling teeth to get my 7 year old son and 8 year old daughter off the video games or the computer. And sadly even when they do go outside a lot of the times they especially the girl wants to play live action Super Mario Bros. But anyway welcome to Retro Junk and enjoy the forums.
