Part of the reason I like going to garage sales and stuff solo is so you don't have to forfeit stuff to the people you're with. My cousin and I are interested in the same stuff, and so jealousy can sometimes factor in. =x

I am a big fan of the avant-garde rock band The Residents. Recently there was a laserdisc of theirs on ebay for 12.99(one on amazon for $189.00)! Oh it gets better it was owned by Bruce Gary (now deceased) of The Knack. I watched this auction for days and woke up at the crack of 12:30 pm and said I've got time since it ends at 1:15 and i went to make something to eat, got distracted and missed it! The guy bought it for 12.99! Man I'm angry!

Auctions can be frustrating. Every now and then you get exactly what you want, and for a good price. In some cases, I've had to booze myself to bed because I lost my item.

My biggest miss was a 6-pack of full Josta sodas. I didn't have the money for it at the time, and someone bought it before I had a chance to. I sure wish they put at least one more full can of Josta on ebay again soon.
