I can remember a time when I was younger and regular Nintendo came out and I would sit and play that for hours on end! My favorite games were things like the Castlevania series, A Nightmare On Elm Street, Ducktales, The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2, Mystery Mansion, Batman, ect. but there were tons of great games that I'd play today if my dad hadn't took the Nintendo when him and my mom separated. We had at least 25 or 30 games I'd say. I remember Atari and that's going way back! My mom and her friends would play all the time and my grandpa even used to play. One of my favorite games was Adventure but I also liked Kaboom, Donkey Kong, Pac Man, E.T., Journey, ect. The games they make now are excellent and if you have months of time on your hands I'm sure you can beat them but they take up too much time. I recently seen graphic for the new Playstation 3 and it looks really awesome but I probably won't buy it. I'll just see the one my cousin or my friend gets. The newer games that I love to play are things like the Resident Evil series, the Silent Hill series, the Mortal Kombat series, the Tekken series, the Soul Calibur series, Grand Theft Auto: Vice City, ect. (fighting games or anything horror related). The way I've talked about games would have you believe that I'm a huge gamer and that's not the case but I do like the way the graphic are getting with time. I guess the reason I wrote this is because I used to love the older games more than most of the games these days but maybe it's because I'm old fashioned. I mean it would take a day or 2 to beat an older game to where as now it would take you hours on end up to even months depending on what game you play. What does everyone else think?

    Atari - Nintendo - Super Nintendo - Game Boy - Sega - Jaguar - Game Boy Advance - Playstation - Xbox - Playstation 2 - Gamecube - Playstation 3 - Xbox 2 - Where Do We Go From Here?

Remember The Sega CD System that was actually the first cd based gaming system that Sega came out with, This was many years before the Sega Saturn came out.

See, I feel exactly the opposite. Now a days, you can save the game where you left off and come back later and pick up from that same spot, which allows you to beat the game in about a week (With several exceptions of course), in the old days, you couldn't save, so when you lost all your lives, you started all the way over taking months to finally master a game enough to make it to the last level (once again with several exceptions)
