System 9 years 1 month ago Posts: 74809	Anyone have a clue what the NES emulator is? i saw a site were you can make flashes that use the NES emulator and make and make it into a GBA cartradge with it.. is it true? if it is that would be awsome... heres the site- http://www.nes-emulator.com/ here's another one but it's in french or somthing,- http://roms.consolemul.com/ (NOTE: http://roms.consolemul.com/ is a site were you can download NES games from the PC onto your GBA.) Some of the games might be Ao, (adults only) like "Kings of Porn," so summa' them might not be reccomended to lil' kids.

System 9 years 1 month ago Posts: 74809	A nes emulater is a program that alows you to play nes roms (games) on your pc, you can also get ones for gameboy and all the old sega systems try www.freeroms.com if you want to get a hold of some. As for all that other stuff I got no idea what you talkin bout????

Mystie 9 years 1 month ago Posts: 1132	I have almost all the NES and SNES roms. Even foreign and hacks and shit. I found a ton of them when I was snooping in my brother's room and grabbed some discs and copied them for myself. I use an emulator called FCEUltra. Pretty nice.

System 9 years 1 month ago Posts: 74809	I prefer JNes, myself for the regular Nintendo ROMs, and ZSNES Windows port for the super NES games... I also have Gens32, which is a Sega Genesis emulator. and ePSXe, a full-on PlayStation emulator... The hardest thign for me is trying to use the keyboard to play the games. My Gravis gamepad is packed up awating a move to teh new house that's currently under construction... And I want to throw this out, too.... I'm a big fan of the ShadowRun games... I loved teh SNES Shadowrun. then a friend of mine told me that teh Sega version totally pwned the SNES one... So, I got me the rom in my genesis emulator, and fired it up, expecting nothign more than maybe a few improved graphics... uh, not hardly... it is a totally different game!!! In terms of accuracy to the actual pencil & paper RPG, the Sega game is closer in detail... but I really, REALLY like teh story of the SNES game... I'll let you know how the Sega game goes... but if you've never played the Sega version of Shadowrun, but you've played teh SNES version, you owe it to yourself to at least check it out...

Jason43 9 years 1 month ago Posts: 1553 Account Disabled	I downloaded just about every NES game a while back in one file off of a bittorent site. The problem with most of the actual rom sites out there is that they are litered with viruses. Almost everyone I've been to has set off my virus program.

ruzan 9 years 1 month ago Posts: 8	Ive been an avid Rom Collector for 4-5 years now, I have an extensive collection for just about every system you can think of. Looking for that hard to find rom, or Sega-Cd iso? Holler at me in pm and Ill try to get you what you need. Oh, and no "Can you send me all your snes/nes/gen roms?" There are thousands and im not going to send them all to one person heh. Sorry if this is not allowed to be talked about in this forum, if it gets modded, I will never speak of it again here

System 8 years 9 months ago Posts: 74809	There are also a lot of emulation sites out there that don't offer roms, but do offer a lot of info on using them and all the cool stuff that can be done with them. Not being tied into all the "toplists" and semi-illegal trade of roms usually translates into being clean of trojans, viruses, etc. You'll probably want to get games from a p2p or irc network. The flash carts for gba are really nice. You can play old nes roms on your gba with the right programs. You can even emulate other consoles on the gba with the use of a shell program and the emulators themselves. You can't use just any usb flash drive. It has to be a gba flash cart; there are several brands and memory sizes out there. I have a flash2advance cart from several years ago. It still works beautifully. The kits you buy are essentially a cheap version of game developer tools. With the right programs and knowledge you can even make your own games and port them to your gameboy.
