Do/Did you (ever) have any toys, video games or anything else that was recalled?
I have a recalled pre-"some point in 2003" Original Xbox console. Xboxes made before that "some point in 2003" could have a power failure risk which could lead to fires.
Microsoft issued special power cords for those recalled consoles of which can prevent the fire risk by cutting power to the system if a fiery "power failure" was on the horizon. I have one of those special power cables for my Xbox.
I also have a copy of the Nintendo Wii game Mario Party 8 from when it first came out on July 13th 2007, but was recalled due to some copies containing an unedited game script as opposed to the edited script which was supposed to be there.
My copy of the game contains the edited script.
Mario Party 8 was re-released August 3rd 2007 with the error corrected.
UPDATE
I have one of the buggy copies of Super Paper Mario on the Nintendo Wii. Nintendo are still due to post information on getting the discs replaced. As soon as they do post the disc replacement info on their site, I shall get my disc replaced.
my kids have some of the recalled matell toys. One I know for sure is the silly parts elmo. I havent gone through all of the list to check and see how many but I am sure they have at least 3 more from the list on the news.
-for that matter I also had some of the recalled dog food, peanut butter, and some of the microwave popcorn(the kind that causes the "popcorn lung"-must have a nack for buying unsafe things huh?lol

I had the rollerblade Barbie back in the early 90's whose skates "flicker and flash". I didn't learn until much later that they were recalled due to being a fire hazard.

Heck yeah, I had those, too. I was going to start a thread about 'em. Too bad they started fires.
I also had this Fisher-Price Pop-Up Playhouse. The fucker would spontaneously snap shut, and I JUST found out they had recalled it, 20 years too late. Oh, well.....I'm still alive.
