Do dumps count? Because my father did found an
old Betamax thats still working. It even had a
tape inside. It was just some old 80s Christmas
        specials.

It was when I got it. I don't even have it anymore.

Picked up an old VCR a month ago from my apartment complex's laundry room (also where the trash collection bins are). It worked for a day and then it shorted out and then I looked at the manufacture date and it said December 1989. It was probably on its last leg anyhow. On the other hand it was cool to watch my old Star Wars Trilogy tapes once though and at least the machine didn't short out with one of my tapes inside!! Especially Empire!! LOL

I used to do it all the time, but the pickings are slim where I live now.
