I like a little Sims 2 for PC but I think the game success is getting outta control because I tried of that expansions packs (it sucks)I like Sims 2 but not the expansions packs :(

Electronic Arts canĀ“t make the the sims more abnormal, they so stupid  if the characters were more realist they game would be nice! 8)

When I first played it, I got hooked right off the bat. At first, it was interesting to watch my character go about his daily routine; grumbling at the sound of the alarm clock, hittin' the bathroom, making breakfast. Then it was off to work, occasionally bringing home a co-worker or two for some gaming or watching the bigscreen. Then I thought "Hey...don't I already do that?" Suddenly I felt like a grown man playing house with digital dolls. The few nude skins floating around the net kept my interest for a bit after that, but I just ended up uninstalling it a week later.

Im thinking of getting this game for Gamecube. I played a little at my friend's house and eliminated everyone in a new family he made. The dad died due to poor hygiene, then the kid got taken away because he never went to school I think, then the mom eventually died sad and alone.

It was the best Sims game I have ever played in my entire life.

It has been pretty interesting, but unfortunately the expansions are sub-par quality and after a time the poor AI really starts to itch. There are several other, quite annoying limitations too, but better not get into those now (might come out a long article). In overall, though, it's good, but losing its charm. If the new sequel doesn't remedy majority of the faults, it will be quite likely also the last.

Another annying thing is you can't have kids on the console versions.

I have the latest expansion pack (Open for business) which is quite good. It's quite a challange but I'm getting the hang of it now.

When I was younger I was obsessed with playing the Sims on PC. I would sit in front of my computer and play for 5+ hours straight. I installed a lot of the expansion packs and I would contantly play whenever I got a new one. It was fun to build a community and make the Sims do stuff. Plus, I knew the cheat code to get more money so I would build these huge homes and stuff. I always got scared when the Grim Reaper came though. I have no clue why.
                      Welcome to my castle.

What you can do is build relationships, get jobs but there are goals for your sims to do. You can't have a family tree like you can in the PC version.

Enigmoo, isn't the business one released already? It's been released here for a month. Nobody knows what the next expansion pack is. It's rumoured to be about pets or holidays.

Is it still possible for your sim to be a fatty?

By the looks of things the next expansion pack is about pets. So a remake of Unleashed. It should be a good one as Sims fans have been waiting ages for a pets expansion pack.

Ummm, you CAN have kids in the console versions. I've done it in the Sims, and the Sims Bustin Out, both for Xbox, I havnt done it with Sims 2 yet, but thats because I havnt tried.

Sims 2 pets have been confirmed. Not only for PC but all consoles too.

I think you can become a warewolf in the PC version.

The Sims always reminded me of a hi-tech Tamigotcha...how ever you spell it. I would take my sims and get them jobs and play the game to the letter with no cheats...but then...every so often, I would put one in an electric chair or set him on fire.

Funny thing is, I created all my sims based on people I know. Certain people got treated much worse than others. Its a great way to use those sociopathic tendencies.
