    Hullo

For about a year now, I've been writing a book about my life.
I'm only 27, so finding enough good stuff to put in it is proving hard.

Its basically a chronicle of what life was like for the child of a serving soldier.
I spent a lot of my childhood in Germany, although I am British. It was a life not like the usual childhood. 8 schools, umpteen house moves and a lot of friends lost and made.

There are a few funny stories about some pretty stupid things I got up to. Some info on how the school system worked for kids with parents in the armed forces and general info about my neighbourhoods and friends.

Anyone think a skinned down version would prove interesting as an article?

          This is encouraging.

I think I'll begin work on it.

As for illustrating it, thats going to be difficult. I have precious few photos of my friends or surroundings from my childhood. Might just use some photos of myself and things that were a common site in the day.

                Part 1 has been submitted.
                Lets hope it is approved.

I've had to use personal family photos to illustrate it, but as I'm not scared to show my younger self... I'm not bothered. I looked good back then.. so no embarrassment factor here :)
