That's still one of my favorite movies- I cry every time his mother gets killed and he wanders off and falls into that ice cavern. That movie was so beautiful. I think what this guy may be referring to is a Disney short musical of Peter and the Wolf. A little boy goes into the forest with a little pop-gun to hunt a wolf, and he meets a couple of animals who help him like Sonya the duck, Melvin the cat, and that little bird whose name I don't recall. It was funny cause when they finally meet the wolf the boy fires the popgun and it hits the wolf in the nose- a classic from my childhood.

There was indeed a White Fang cartoon.I used to watch it every morning on HBO in the early 90s.
