For anyone that grew up in Chicago in the late 80's early 90's this is what you came home to watch after school. It was the local Fox station afternoon kids show and he had some of the funniest skits. I remember Captain Dustpan the most. Anybody else remember funny things from his show?

I do remember that but don't recall the skits. That was Dave Koz who also was Son of Svengoolie in the early 80's and I think recently as well.
Was the Koz zone from the late 80's? I would have been in junior high then but for some reason I remember it from earlier than that.
      Are you from Chicago?

Actually I'm from NW Indiana, and it was in the late 80's because I was still getting home from school by 3:00 which means I was still in Elem. School Another thing I remember is he would try to use Berwyn as many times in a sentence as possible.

Yes it was now kids come home and don't have the same experience we did. It is nice that you can watch cartoons 24 hours a day but that takes some of the fun out of it. Saturday mornings aren't the same any more. When we were kids you had a reason to get up because that was our time. All of the tv stations showed cartoons. Not any more. I guess that is progress, though.

Yeah, I remember it a bit. I also remember when he used to answer questions like "Why is the sky blue?". I think my school was mentioned there one time.
