mikee_kid12 9 years 2 months ago Posts: 640	shakes head in shame Son of a Bch! SON OF A FING BCH!!! With the exception of Resident Evil, every movie adaptation of video games sucks! This looks like a fing rehash of Resident Evil, and appears to have nothing to do with Doom. ugh...... We need to wait for the hardcore gamers with creative minds and commitment to video games, as well as great movie making skills(or potential) before we ever get a good run with the Video Game genres for movies. In my eyes, Spider-Man was the first really good, true, and risky, and all around great comic book movie adaptation. X-Men was okay, and going further back to Spawn(another great example), and finally reaching Batman and Batman Returns, the rest of the comic book movie adaptations f*ing SUCKED!!!! Sam Raimi is responsible for making the superhero/comic book genre really great and huge! In my eyes anyways....... Right now we have Resident Evil as the acceptable piece of gold, and like with the superhero genre, seeing all this worthless crap will pay off when a director and writer make a video game movie 10xtimes better than Resident Evil, and kick off the video game genre for movies, just like Raimi did for the superhero genre! and who knows? maybe this Doom movie will turn out to be another great, and hopefully won't be pure glorified shit.

This might be as good as "Mortal Kombat" or as fun as "Tomb Raider", but let's hope this won't be a dud like "Alone in The Dark", " House of the Dead", "Super Mario" or "Street Fighter". There's even the upcoming movies based on "Alice", "Halo", and of course " Silent Hill".
