This thread is for celebrity's from our childhood who have vanished from fame.

Two I'm going to mention are William Shatner and Christopher Lloyd. It's not pleasent what they do now, by the way. Shatner is in a Bran flakes advert in the U.K (he must be desperate) and Lloyd was on some crappy S Club 7 programme. If he needed money I'd have loaned him some.

Christopher Lloyd is still in the big time infact between 2005-2006 he is in no less than 8 movies or in productions and as for Shatner well his last movie was Miss Congeniality 2: Armed and Fabulous and he is filming for Over the Hedge at the moment. Hope that answers the question for you.
Every time I visit RetroJunkit seems to change. Just glad the people dont.

You must not watch very much television, William Shatner stars in "Boston Legal" and actually won an emmy. Christopher Lloyd stars in the hit Fox comedy "Stacked" with Pamela Anderson.

Never seen those shows. I don't think the U.K has them yet.

not only is shatner still making movies/appearing on tv shows, he is also in the music industry and released an album last year. He's doing very well for himself.

Christopher Lloyd is doing ok too.

WHAT THE HELL. Boston legal is still on. Man that was a crappy ass show. I remember the first day desperate housewives came on (way before it was considered a woman’s show) that Boston legal show came on after it and I tried to watch it but feel dead to sleep honest to god.

Man I love that show. Unwrapped always makes me soooo hungry. And it's usually for bad snack food!

Don't forget that William Shatner also had that short lived fake reality TV show where he was "filming" a sci-fi movie. Invasion Iowa I think it was.

As for Marc Summers, there's a good reason he didn't do much after Double Dare. Being around all that slime and gunk actually gave the poor guy an obsessive compulsive disorder about cleaning. He would hire professional cleaners to clean his house every day, then go along behind them and clean up after them, to the point he had to have every one of the little frilly things on the edges of his full room throw rugs perfectly straight.

It took him a long time to get that under control.

The Shat does those awful All-Bran commercials...

Christopher Lloyd still has a 'poor man's Jim Carrey' vibe and pops up in many films where a zany lead is needed.

I thought Christopher Lloyd was a great actor. The last best thing I've seen him in was that guest slot in Malcolm in the Middle.

My roommate freshman year of college went to Marc's high school in Indy. He seemed awfully proud of himself.

OCD takes many forms... it's not just a 'checking thang'.

My friend saw Stephen Gateley (from Boyzone) once and he was a total asshole. Then again whats his excuse for being rude, he hasn't been famous since Boyzone split up and he had a failed solo career.

Don't worry too much about stars who have disappeared from the spotlight, folks, they're destined to appear on the Surreal Life or as a VH1 commentator eventually.

Boston Legal? Crappy?! How could you say that?! He's so great on that show! Than again, you just have to understand the humor. But right now, alot of old stars are mking a comeback. Chris Lloyd (Stacked) and jason Lee, my fav actor of all time in My Name is Earl!
