I chose to create a topic about any and every Star Wars video game that is known to lots of Star Wars fans and video game fans. So you all can chat about your favorite Star Wars video games. Weather they were for Atari, Nintendo, Sega Genisis, Super Nintendo, Gameboy, Nintendo64, Play Station, Play Station 2, Nintendo Gamecube, XBox, etc.

Rogue Squadron for the 64 was bitchin, although I don't think I ever beat it :P Oh, and the old Tie Fighter game was cool. The best has to be the old old green line arcade game with the double trigger controller. FRICKEN SWEET!

All of the rouge squadron's rock!!! KOTOR is probly my fave star wars game of all time. Shadows of the empire was fun too.

Galaxies looks like a fun game but I will not play games that you have to pay extra every month to be able to keep playing it, or even pay extra at all.

For some reason, alot of people seem to think that Star Wars games are bad. I personally think that some are good and some are bad. Im a big fan of the super nintendo Super Star Wars series. The original game boy one was pretty good too.

Although there is a some good/some bad theme to Star Wars video games, I'd have to say the best is Rogue Squadron 64. And the absolute worst is Knights of Teras Kasi for PS1. Seriously, a 1-on-1 hand combat game? I also like Force Commander, and the [u]newer[/u] arcade hand trigger game. I still love the classic arcade game too, though. I haven't gotten to try Battlefront PS2 or Galaxies for PC yet, but they both look really good. AND Lego Star Wars is actually a fun and entertaining, if childish, game.

My favourite SW game (and one of my top three games period) is TIE Fighter. Being able to fly as Darth Vader's wingman in one of the missions was awesome.

Another great SW game, and possibly the best online multiplayer game of all time (don't talk to me about Quake or Starcraft) is Jedi Knight. So fun to play. I was still avidly JKing on the MSN Zone in like 2002, and the game came out in 1997!

As for SW gaming on the consoles, Super Empire Strikes Back for the SNES is my favourite, but Shadows of the Empire on N64 was pretty good too.

It's true that SW games sucked Wookiees for a couple of years (around 1999-2002), but they've recently become good again. Battlefront was awesome, and I've never played KOTOR but everyone says it's great. I can't wait for Battlefront II in November. (So I invented a time machine out of an old exercise bike and a Soda Stream... just kidding. Or am I? Yeah, I am.)

I hear you with that Jedi night thing Daniel. I was playing it as late as 2001 when on the network at Uni! Throwing throcks at newbies.... great stuff.

The Return of the Jedi arcade game was fun as were Super Star Wars.

But I do find that Battlefront is one of the most fantastic uses of the license in a long time. Taking part in the Hoth batlle with a friend is great stuff.

Tie fighter ruled and I wish I had a working PC and net connection so I could play something like X wing alliance online! Now that.... would be fun.

Jedi Knight II has been one of my top favorites. With all the mods available online for it, I keep coming back for more. Excellent lightsaber combat in the single player experience.

Tie Fighter ruled. I would play that for hours on end. That along with X-Wing and X-Wing vs. Tie Fighter. The only other SW games I enjoyed were Dark Forces and JK II: Jedi Outcast (all for PC).

Tie Fighter was the best and today sometimes I still play it on my old computer!

It feels so good in the darkside!!!!

                              lol

And Rogue Squadron 2 for gamecube is also great!

yeah, star wars games are the bomb! i've got shadows..., rogue squadron, and podracing on N64, and a truckload of PC games, as well. my fav is the phantom menace first person game. there's some great cheat codes on there; one makes jawas the size of evergreens; another gives you whatever character you want (qui-gon, obi-wan, padme, or panaka...the only playable characters). it's funny being obi-wan, then switching to padme and hearing a man's voice w/ her!

Shadows of the Empire for N64 is the one I really got into.

Used to rent it as much as Super Mario 64. :D

Star Wars Battlefront II [x-box] is awesome. I love playing as Princess Leia, Luke, Yoda, Han, Darth Maul and Anakin (especially when fighting Obi-Wan  ). If only I was allowed to play online.. :( Same goes for the first one. Very obsessive games.

Star Wars Racer [n64] is effin' awesome as well. One of my favorite things of Star Wars is the podracing (my favorite scene from Ep. 1 tied with the Obi-Wan & Qui-Gon vs. Darth Maul fight).

Super Star Wars [snes] was one the best games to grow up with.

Star Wars Bounty Hunter [ps2] is purdy kuh-oool.

Shadows of the Empire [n6]4 I don't remember too well but I remembering really enjoying it.

Flight of Falcon [gbsp] gets me sooo scared when I'm in the landspeeder

Star Wars Ep.1 The Phantom Menace [ps] is great.

I have yet to play Republic Commando, TIE Fighter, Rogue Squadron and others
