First off: this is NOT that disney-esque Teen Witch movie. This movie is dark and deadly serious, and set in the surburbs in, apparently the 1970's. A girl (Robin, I think) finds that wierd things happen when she loses her temper. I'm really sketchy about this, but for some reason she's sent to her grandmother, who is also witch. Grandma explains some things, and teaches Robin some stuff. Robin starts school, and meets a guy she likes. Then she meets a chick who wants to kill her. Robin's grandmother warned her that other witches may try to kill her, and to avoid them especially at a certain phase of the moon/time of the year, because evil witches are most powerful then. This chick challenges Robin to a shodown on school grounds at midnight (exactly when grandma said NOT to deal with evil witches), and pretty much kicks Robin around for a bit, launching projectiles like sawblades, nails, and tacks (she'd apparently gotten into Shop class and taken some things before Robin arrived at the school) at her, even turning into a goat, and butting Robin down some stairs from behind to start things off. Grandma shows up and the other witch cuts her across her face and arms with magic from long range. Grandma charges her, grabs her and uses her magic to set them both on fire. Robin is just standing there, telling Grandmother to get away from her. Grandma says it's the only way, the evil witch is too powerful to be trusted to just die from her wounds. The fight ends with Robin crying and holding her boyfriend (who knew about the fight, but got knocked out by the evil witch damn near as soon as he got into the school building) as they both look at what was left of the evil witch and grandma. Then Robin packs up, and I think, heads home. Now that I think about it, Robin may have accidentally caused her parents to die in a car crash, which would explain the living with grandma thing.
