This game taught me a great many things, the most important being:

      "pick up hitchhiker

The hitchhiker robs you, stealing your load of (whatever you were carrying) and some money."

Good thing you had UNLIMITED money!

      EDIT: Sorry, brainfart.

The best old skool dos games were the quest games from Sierra: King's Quest, Space Quest, Police Quest, Quest for Glory, and all of their sequels.

Absolutely! I have all of the Sierra collections and I've been playing them again (in order). Recently, I've played KQ 1 & 2, PQ 1 & 2, SQ 1 & 2, and LSL 1 & 2. Lots more good adventure gaming to go!

I've played a little Jazz Jackrabbit, fun game!

I like playing old dos games, especially old Sierra games since the older ones usually run better. The only Space quest I haven’t beaten in 4 since I can't really play it even slowing my CPU down or using a emulator program.

Has any one ever made a dos game using a program called ZZT? Came out in 1991 I think.

a good trip down memory lane.
its all shareware, freeware, and abandonware, so its all legal.

I've always wondered about that game. Does anybody know?

I don't think it was a real game, but I could be mistaken.
