This is like the thread about Cool Stuff You got at Thrift Stores, except it's about Garage sales! What are some of the cool stuff you got at garage sales? I find that Garage sale prices are alot fairer than Thrift Store prices. Here's some of the cool stuff I got from garage sales:
videotapes:
episodes of old Nick Jr. toons - Rugrats, Allegra's Window, Eureeka's Castle
6 episodes of Heathcliff on two videotapes
Four videotapes' worth of old Berenstain Bears episodes
two Arthur tapes with episodes
Several Charlie Brown tapes with episodes, including the Christmas episodes
2 tapes of Muppet Babies episodes (I now have three episodes in all)
2 tapes of the old Kidsongs show
a tape full of Porky Pig cartoons
and many more....
I got most of these episodes for only 50 cents or a dollar per tape, and I got 5 Rugrats tapes for only a dollar at this one sale!

I have also found The Simpsons Season one DVD, a sturdy desk lamp, a Care Bear M&M dispenser (one of those globe thingys that you put a quarter in, and you get candy out of the globe), and my mom has found cool figurines, a nice wooden chair (that reminds her of chairs she used to sit on at church), some nice paintings, etc. at garage sales.
And most of the stuff I found I have found in the last two days (Friday and Saturday), and some in April. I hadn't really started garage saling until this weekend because of school, but I think it's a fun way to meet people and to get cool collectibles from your past. My mom did not understand my 'addiction' to grabbing whatever held my attention and buying it, at first, but I think she now better understands since she went garage saling with me just this past weekend (hint hint). I can't wait to go garage saling again!
