I look for Engrish too. There is usually some pretty funny stuff on play food toys. Sometimes on the dolls too. But the Stationary is the best bet. They usually have such humorous sayings on them.

Sometimes the stores are owned by people who don't speak English well and there are humorous signs hanging in the store. There was one sign that pointed out a shoplifter in the store and it said "steal man".

[FONT="Verdana"] I've never found any DVD's at the dollarstores where I am from, but I definatly love Dollarama in Canada because of the old school colouring books, cabbage patch

It's "Spader-Man", which is clearly different from Spider-Man. (You see, Spider-Man was bitten by a radioactive spider, while Spader-Man was bitten by a radioactive annoying star of "Boston Legal".)

Oh, gosh! I love the dollar stores! I once found some old-school Sailor Moon plastic plates and videos.

We have two Dollar Stores in our city. A Dollar Tree and one just called Dollar Store:

Here\'s a picture of the Dollar Store:

It\'s located in one of our plazas. It is great, you can even get fresh produce in there (sold by count instead of lbs) They have lots of foods, (canned goods, ect.) A few racks of clothing such as sweaters, shorts, T-shirts, bagged socks. yes you can get almost anything you need in there. I\'m currently doing some work stocking in there at times.

I don\'t like our Dollar Tree as much, it\'s right next to Wal-Mart. a lot smaller and doesn\'t carry as much inventory. It doesn\'t get near as much business it seems either.

Wow! What a huge dollar store in your picture! I'd like to go there...:)

I don't like Dollar Tree either. I went to one in my town and it was a mess in there. I like Dollar General a lot better.

Glad you liked the picture, MissALibra

They just got new stock. They now sell eggs, milk (half gallons), yogurt, and bread, they've never had that stuff in there before, and yes it's all $1.00 ea., I think the yogurts are 2 for 1 though :)

And Dollar General isn't too bad (I know what it's like, but never been to one) Just with them not everything's one dollar.

Dollar General is good for buying coloring books, random junk, and sometimes a decent VHS or two, but for anything else, I don't really like going there.

Dollar Tree is okay, depending on the store. I've been to good ones and bad ones. One time I found some Megaman action figures in one, but I couldn't get them because I didn't have any money...

Hey! I bought one of those Megaman action figures and he sits on my DVD player next to E.T., Raphael, Bumblebee, Darth Vader, and a few Hot Wheels cars.
