    		 It wasn't too long ago that I discovered the existence of a few NES cover bands out there, taking 8-bit songs from my childhood to a new level. For any NES fans here that haven't checked these bands out, you can do so at http://www.planetnintendo.com/thewarpzone/bands.html

    Right now my favorite is the Minibosses. They do an amazing job faithfully converting the simplistic NES sounds into something that works great in a four-piece band. I love their Castlevania III medley. Unfortunately the Minibosses site is down as I type this.
