I remember a really large woman with 5 different ceral icons on her watermellon sized arms. It was lucky, trix, tucan sam, coco puffs, and rice krispies. On the other arm it said "dont mess with the best."

If you do get a tattoo, after years go by you will hardly notice them anymore. This is not to imply that you will not admire them from time to time. Your tattoos will always be a part of the first impression that you present to others though. If you do decide to get some (one is never enough), make sure that you are fully prepared to deal with discrimination and negative first impressions based on appearance. There is always going to be a few scared, sheltered, discriminating bastards casting judgement upon you. It is best to grow a backbone first, in order to combat those types.

Yuh, true. I haven't really (or just haven't paid enough attention) noticed any discrimination or judgement. Though, when I'm clothed, no one can see any of them... since I have to sometimes work with some really conservative people, I have paid some attention to not getting tattoos on places which cannot be covered when needed. It's not my point to try and provoke with my tattoos.
If I go to a wedding or something like that where I should look "normal", I cover them up with makeup. Or not.

Strangers who think they can just freely comment your appearance are the funniest, though. Had my share of those, but they're just... urm... bugs in my windshield.

              The worst question

" What made you get that tattoo, what does it mean?"

Why do I have to explain how I decorate my body!

Some people whom I don't even also think hey can actually pull up my shirt when they want to look at some tattoo. That's pretty damn rude in my opinion, so I've gone ballistic on some jerks for that one.

The tattooist I go to has a poster on the wall saying

"People with tattoos are just like people without, Except they are much cooler and can kick your ass"

                    Hahaha that's cool.
My tattoo artist has a sign on his wall that says "If you behave like a bitch, getting the picture done will hurt You."
Roughly, it's difficult to translate it.

I remember I complimented this woman on her tatoos once when I was pumping my gas. She said "oh thats nothing you should see the one under my bra....Do you want to see?"

                              "UM no."
