    		 After doing a Google search and coming up with nothing, then emailing McD's corporate with no luck, I am convinced that I'm the only person on the planet to ever eat something called Maple McCrisps from McDonald's.

    This was in the early or Mid-80s. It was a breakfast food, that I think tasted like french toast. They were about the same size at a McNugget and came with syrup for dipping. Maybe where I lived (Naples, FL) was a test market or something.

    Please, there has to be someone else that has eaten these things so I know I'm not imagining them!

      The Maple McCrisps do not really exist...they are an entity created by your subconcious to help you cope with the loss of Mayor McCheese. I suggest plenty of rest and a happy meal to alleviate your reoccuring sightings of imaginary breakfast foods.

        You know the story of why Mayor McCheese was kicked out of office, right? He was caught in a hotel room eating a Whopper off the chest of a $500 a night hooker.

          I've never heard of Maple McCrisps before, though. I'm not saying they never existed but maybe it was just a test market item back then and was only available in select regions.

                        Ok your location says Florida, so maybe I was right about where I lived being a test market for them. Where did your mom live when she had them?

                          She never had them. She just remembers the advertisements.
