i cannot for the life of me for years of on and off searching find anything on the opening, closing themes, or footage of the two tv shows first one being a wdiv channel 4 detroit viewed "kidbits" hosted by a skinny red headed guy named gary ed mach and the show was basically one of science info and experiments from a simple set up in a one angled view of all to take place right in front of the camera.

the second show being a show that a lot of people seem to know of, but no one has anything on, be it footage audio, or whereabouts.
believed to be out of detroit "the hot fudge show".
a 70's & or 80's production with all that sesame street would have to offer in a puppet/human based cast to use facts, knowledge, music & flashy entertainment to showcase it's talent.
it's most elusive element that would no less satisfy a whole lot of people is the "trippy/70's opening song/jingle in a acid trip dream repeating the shows name...HOT FUDGE, RIGHT ON, HOT FUDGE RIGHT ON!!!

any, all, some piece of these 2 shows would help seal a piece of my past, if we had the vision to record all we know we'd miss, or werent sure existed, boy it would make it so much easier , but the search is on lol! thanks

Yeah. It's hard to find things on the Hot Fudge Show. People thought I was nuts because they never heard of the show or don't remember it. I know Glenn Denver had an album or two with some of the shows songs on it. I'd like to get a hold of that. I even emailed Cartoon Network because they are airing the "Banana Splits" on Boomerang. So I figured if they can air that, maybe they can find the lost tapes of the "Hot Fudge Show". Banana Splits was one of those retro 70's kid shows too.:)

Kidbits was a local program produced by Detroit's NBC affiliate, WDIV that ran from 1980 to 1997 in several formats. Essentially there were 65 five minute segments that were originally seen five days a week during the morning hours at 6:55AM, sometime later, they were seen during a Saturday morning "Bugs Bunny Kidbits Hour" that aired at 10AM (thereby dumping whatever NBC was airing at the time), but otherwise, the program was mostly seen as a half-hour compilation of five segments each, hosted by Gary Ed Mach. One of these episodes is up on YouTube at the moment.
