Was I to grow some INTERNET skin, or the person who complained? I'm confused. I was being goofy, and I thought it was obvious.

I remember the 1,2,3,4 pin ball song by the pointer sisters. Who are the people in your neighborhood. Once Barabra Walters was a guest on the show singing that song. I also remember the song which one of these things doesn't belong with the others. I wish that they would include these with the new epsiodes.

I'm suprised some PC special interest group hasn't complained that "One of these things..." is derogitory and encourages intolerance based on differences. "How DARE you separate that carrot from those apples, just because it's ORANGE and it's a VEGATIBLE! I'm calling the ACLU!!"

Oh man! I watched Sesame Street religiously as a kid. Sometimes if I'm bored I'll put it on now also, but its definitley not the same so it sucks now.

I could never get the point of this segment.

It's just 2 silly men taking about the letter V in a rather wierd way.

Here's some foreign intros/outros of Sesame Street that aren't already uploaded on RJ that I thought I'd share with you!

Vila Sesamo intro from the early 70's (Brazil)
                      http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VzoGq2ymDA4

This one's different from the American version, and it's kinda long for an intro to a kids' show. Kinda catchy song, too!

                      Sesamstraat intro from 1976 (Netherlands)
                      http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=77x7GxTMsIs

The kids singing the theme seem to have a little trouble keeping up with the music!

Iftah Ya Simsim intro from 1979 (Kuwait)
                      http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E1tNJ309BqY

It doesn't look like an SS intro at all!

Rechov Sumsum intro from the 80's (Israel)
                      http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eXHpyswHoBk

This music in this intro sounds really familiar to me.

Anybody remember a song (sung in spanish and english at different parts) that was played to various clips of kids playing with their brothers that was called (I think) "We are brothers"? It ends with

                        We love each other!
                        (something) hermanos
                        We are brothers
                        We are brothers

And does anyone have the lyrics to the playground song? I know some of it, but it's been a long time, and I never really learned it. There were kids looking over a construction crew's plans for a new inner-city playground in the beginning.

                        First verse:
Here is the playground its easy to tell
but looking from here you can't see very well
here is the swing set and here is the slide
                        *couldn't understand this part*

                        Chorus:
I like to see from high up like an eagle looking down
let's make official, a map of the whole playground
I like to see from high up like a mountain standing tall
let's make official, a map of it all

And lastly: I hate Elmo as much as anyone who grew up with the GOOD Sesame Street...but that one song he sings, "In your imagination" is so whimsical, I love it. Does anyone here have it, or know where I can download it?
