Can't anyone give me what I want?

Anyway, I've made a few additions to the list of songs I love. The new ones listed are colored red.

Face Facts (Those two girls are so sexy, especially when they dance)

Not With Litter (Rap song with kids cleaning up trash in a park in a timelapse)

Toothpaste Factory Rap (How Do They Get The Toothpaste In The Tube?)

Box City Recyclin' Rap (Kids building things with boxes and stuff)

The number segments (These are what I really love: 13, 15, 17, 19)

    Circles Rap

    Cecile intro

Letter and shape segments (With kids dancing; C- Circle, S- Square and T- Triangle)

P- Party (With kids dancing, and one girl blowing out the candles)

    At School

Happy Birthday (A woman's voice said it in a rap way with sexy sounds and rap-like music)

We Got the Power (Computer rap segment)

That's What's Best About Getting Dressed

    Faces Rap

    My New Computer

    Body Dance

    Take Care of That Smile

No Matter What (Kids changing a big multi-colored ball)

Time For a Rhyme (Both versions)

Above it All (I want just the mp3 of this song. I love it! I even sang the chorus of it.)

Believe in Yourself (N*Sync version. I LOVE N*Sync! They rock!)

That's all I've got so far. Can someone get the videos and mp3s of those songs (minus Above it All)?

I dunno if anyone has posted this yet, but Teeny Tiny Super Guy! How awesome was that?!

And those yep-yep Martians. I had a friend who was terrified of them.

I think my favourite Sesame Street piece has to be the counting to 12 pinball song that was parodied on Family Guy.

          (WARNING: Another long post!)

I also remember this one segment that showed robots doing various tasks, such as painting a car, playing the piano, and making ABC blocks (And spelling out the words "SESAME STREET" while doing so!); this bizarre stop-motion segment with a fish swimming underwater and a seagull flying overhead, and a vacuum cleaner sucking all the water up and exploding; the Arnold segment (The "football-headed" Arnold, to be exact  ) which he traveled in his armchair to his own little island while various animals said, "Hello, Arnold."; the Telephone Rock, ending with the mop-headed kid being carried away in the phone booth by a cop because he kept pestering the operator with his oh-so-catchy song; a fish calling up this kid nearby telling him to stop wasting water because the water in his lake is being sucked away; and the Elbows and Knees song.

LOL! It certainly is round, but tasty?

Yeah and Arnold was not the only nicktoon to start off someplace else. So was Doug He got his start on USA he had a variety of bumpers where he is carrying a sign for USA cartoon express I remember one he was carrying it and the dog was instead resting on it which causes Doug to drop it on his foot.

I was remembering some really 70's live action segments. One was stop action sort of and it showed all this furniture being moved into a clasroom- black board, teacher desk, student's desks. At the end a bell rings and suddenly there's all these kids. Then there was a little tune that went like so:
What's it like to be in school
is it fun is it cool
are there lots and lots of rules
can I laugh can I shout tell me what's it all about
what's it like to be in school, will there be a teacher who'll help me out when I'm new, what's it like to be in school?

There's the one about sharing: Sharing's fun with another someone, it makes you feel so good.

The one about paying attention: Pay no attention, to little miss next to you, listen, before you miss it...

And then of course the one about being alone: Sometimes I just need the time, to think about things I like...all by myself- I do it alot. Well why not?

Wow, I read through all 25 pages packed with sooooo many memories! There was some I was going to mention that others already have, but let's see if I can name a few that hasn't been said yet:

Okay, the one about the sunflower with the camera studying it up close and all over. I think a solo guitar was playing throughout it with minimal back-up music. It was so pretty and simple.

The number 5 skit where Jim Henson himself was seen juggling 5 balls. The camera freezes and the kids yell, "ONE TWO THREE FOUR FIVE!"

The seasons song with the cartoon girl riding on a swing. "In autumn, and winter, and then it's springtime again..." Or something like that.

There was another seasons song with the Guy Smiley Muppet. He goes through all the seasons, such as spring in the rain, summer at the beach, autumn with leaves being thrown at him, and winter where he's freezing half to death. The changes in season start to go rapidly fast at the end.

The cartoon ringmaster that counted how many lions there were. One time, Dad came home from work for lunch and saw us watching this segment and the number was 9. Dad looks to the TV and belches, "NINE?!" I never forgot that to this day!

The cartoon guy who keeps sneezing and he blows up his house with the music going, "Ah, ah, ah, ah, ahhhhh chooooo!"

The live segment where the humans were being attacked by all these balloons falling from the sky and they started to wonder who was doing it. Clues were going around such as Gordon having string sticking out of his pocket and so on.

The live action swimming lessons where it ends with everyone dancing around in a circle with, "We all fall down!"

Bert and Ernie with the TV stuck on repeating the letter "H." That was kind of freaky.

The 'K' is for karate and the Pink Panther karate-chops a solid block to form the letter 'K' within it.

"I am the World" song. Very pretty.

Susan and Olivia going to that outdoor concert hall and Olivia gets up on stage to pretend she's performing before an audience.

Oscar getting Telly lost in another neighborhood and the lady cop gives Oscar a real hard time about it.

Maria and David (or was it Luis?) having a grouch dinner near Oscar's trash can and he causes their table to get rained on.

Big Bird visiting Mr. Snuffy's cave and finding all those marks on the ground to some treasure.

Big Bird on a busy NY street talking about how sneezing can be so spontaneous, and then without warning, sneezes at the camera!

Big Bird teaching David how to rollerskate and he does a horrible job, laughing and falling repeatedly. He then imagines himself skating around what appears to be Central Park. Very 70's.

Big Bird and Bob playing the 'repeat' game until Bob wanted to stop but Big Bird continued to repeat everything he said. Eventually, Bob was on the brink of insanity.

Kermit talking to two kids and the younger kid pulls at Kermit's collar. I laughed to it, but felt so bad for Kermit. I thought the collar got ruined, but I'm not sure.

Construction workers hoisting up a big, red letter 'R' up the side of a building. Funky music plays as this happens.

"Somebody Come And Play" with the hippos, sung by Luis I think. I like the version sung by the kids and Bob.

Live-action of kids picking up trash and they move around a park in fast-forward motion. One girl picks up a piece of paper, keeps going, "Blech!" and throws it away.

V for Volcano and other words. It was a weird one.

There's more, but I'll think of them later!

I also remember the guy that would paint numbers on things. The gag was that after he did it, whatever he painted would be removed by circumstance. For instance, he would paint the number eight on a park bench and then somebody would sit on it, get up, and walk away with the number on their back. The guy was a mime I believe, and he would always look so sad when his number didn't stay. He would paint it on a truck and the truck would drive away, etc. I liked him!

I remember those ones. in fact just recently I found that the painter was played by Paul Bendict (sp?) from The Jeffersons. one of my favorites (which can be seen on youtube.com) was when he painted little 3s at a picnic.

The Rebel L video was cool. I also liked the No music video with Maria and Gina. Gina used to be smokin' hot way back in the mid 90's and that video shows why.

Teeny Super Guy was also awesome.

I remember the sunflower one- there were other flowers too...and the little girl and the trash going "BLECH!" Then there was one where a little girl is talking about seasons, starts with winter and she's walking down a path and then it goes into spring, fall and I think it ends with summer- and these kids running through the grass and smelling flowers. I liked the music...very synthasizery.

Then there was the sugar beet tune. Beet beet beet, sugar beet beet sugar beet beeeeee-eeeet.

                            How about:

                            "We're rock n' roll readers
(Readings somethin' rock n' rollers need)
                            Rock n' roll readers!
(Readings somethin' rock n' rollers need)
When we're not on the sage-
                            we're likely to be
makin' an apperance at the library."

Or the segment where a girl would be watering flowers and the song:

"When you water, water your garden can you tell me what you are going to grow.."

And a different letter would pop up every time and the girl would say:

"I know I can grow...and then the letter."

I loved both those lol :D And thanks for the link to sites to hear songs!

                                  (sighs) I guess not.

Well, anyway, I liked the SS segment where Elmo was trying to get Herry's attention until he found a way and read a book with him, laughing together. I thought that segment was cute!
