    Yes! I remember the pinball segment used on "Sesame Street" when I was a kid. It has sounded a lot more urbanish kinda tune where they were singing "1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10,11,12". That brings back a lot of memories of watching "Sesame Street". I'm 27 years old but I'm too old to watch that show. I remember the another segment includes the alphabet in fireworks. I've seen it before, but I don't see that segment on YouTube yet. Maybe I should look for it. I love the "Family Food" segment with Richard Dawson from "Family Feud". It was based on a popular game show of the same name. I hope my niece would love to see it someday.

          There was another one that showed a kerosene lamp being assembled, I don't know why but that music that's playing really takes me back.

          Then there's one that shows these dolphins doing tricks (live action) and THAT music brings back memories. It's not so much the skits, but the music- where they're harvesting corn, with that early 70's flute music.

                  M eats everything on table identifying each food as it goes along,

                  Puppet detectives looking for letter W , who gives them the slip by
                  turning upside down saying he's a letter M.

                    1 When this puppet sold Ernie a painting w/ 4 hidden elephants on it for a nickel.

                    2 The "We are all Earthlings" song. Even though Elmo was in it, it was still a good song.

                      I remember a long time ago, I used to have a Sesame Street LP called "My Name Is Roosevelt Franklin". It has "The Skin I'm In", "Halfies" and others. It was on the Columbia label back in the early 70's. But now, I lost my record somewhere back in my Puerto Rico days. I remember the LP I used to have was "Sesame Disco", it has the following songs:

                      1. "What Makes Music?" - The entire cast
                      2. "Me Lost Me Cookie at the Disco" - Cookie Monster and the Girls
                      3. "The Happiest Street in the World" - Big Bird, Kids and Girls
                      4. "Sing" - The Girls
                      5. "Disco Frog" - Kermit the Frog and Girls
                      6. "Doin the Trash" - Oscar the Grouch and the Girls
                      7. "Bein Green" - Kermit and Girls.
                      8. "The Happiest Street in the World (Reprise)"

                      There was also a song called "Sing" where it was sung by the Carpenters. That's a great song as part of "Sesame Street".

                        This just in, one skit that I remember from watching Sesame Street is the one when the pencil is trying to spell "Dance". He writes "Danz", then erasing it, then "Dans" and then erasing it once again until he can spell "Dance" correctly. In the end, I really like when he dances off the screen. That one really make me laugh. Does anyone remember this? If so, do you have a video of that?

                            I am SOOO glad there are others out there that remember the REAL SESAME STREET...

                            So far I've seen posts for all the good ones...
                            the pinball bit...the baby song (ga ga goo goo wah wah wah wah)

                            here FISHY FISHY FISHY...I still say that

                            the one with the kids running and jumping...and there shadows and stuff...what was different was that all those kids were Special Ed kids...you don't see that now.


                            what about the montage of sounds that starts with a leaky faucet, someone snoring, then the vacuum goes, then the the record player goes, then the train comes by, then they go backwards

                            Anytime OLIVIA sang...like the duet with George Benson, singing You've got a Friend...when I first heard the Carole King version, I said, "Oh Olivia sang it better."

                            And the Don't Walk song with Olivia, Susan, and Maria

                            remember when Maria was the YOUNGEST cast memeber...she was so cool, that long hair, those cool clothes she wore...I remember she dated David

                            Remember when David daydreamed that he was really good at roller skating?

                            And Cookie Monster singing, 'I left My Cookie At The Disco"...he was dressed up like Issac Hayes... :lol:

                                    one thing i loved the old seseme street the skits were funny and from time to time i find my self watching it thouhg its so disipointing now a days i miss the skits especaly the grover stuff like him as a waiter and near and far.
