    I remember some definite things, like when they found out Snuffy was for real, I remember when Elmo was NOTHING, I remember Mister Hooper and when he died, I remember Olivia, and Petey (the dude who breakdanced). I remember Don Piano, Roosevelt Franklin, and other obscure characters. But I also remember odd random things like the little segments they'd have...like one with a kerosene lamp being put together, and the music that played. There was one with dolphins leaping, there was one where they were showing how sugar was made and they were singing "beet beet beet sugarbeet beet sugar beet beeeeet"

    There was this segment where there'd be kids leaping and jumping...you'd see thier shadows against a dark blue screen, and then there was one with dots that would count down. There was this tune "everybody sleeps" and I got scared of this one dude they showed who had long scraggly hair and a beard...he was spooky looking. I remember the music that played in the segments, very 70's and 80's. I remember this band that had a guy with viking horns and cows with very 80's hair singing about Danger. Oh and "The Beetles". Very cute in hindsight. I'd love to see/hear some of those tunes and old episodes...hard to now since Noggin flaked out and started showing crap that can be seen on friggin Nick Jr! :|

      I remember a bunch of old Seasame street stuff, however some of it was only shown on the Canadian version I think.

      I remember a little segment which was clay animation and it was about a guy who was getting ready to go to sleep and he would go to sleep with his boots on, and when he did the narrator would say in a whispered voice "what about the boots??"

      I also remember the little cartoon guy who was on a glass in a cupboard, I forget what his name was. Anyone know?

      And of course I remember the pinball segment that went "1-2-3-4-5, 6-7-8-9-10, 11, tweeleleleleve!"

        Man in a glass was called something like Teenage super little guy. Correct me if I'm wrong.

              How about Biff and Sully, the construction workers, the blue headed bald dude that opened his mouth and different noises came out, and Grover as a waiter? All I know is that I wanted to be a waiter like Grover SO BAD, that I flat out refused to be a ring bearer in my uncle's wedding (when I was 3) because I was positive I'd have to do that for the rest of my life. I also rocked out to old school Seasame Street records ("C is for Cookie" is the highlight of the album) and I've still got my Seasame Street sheets. For the record, I do not use them anymore... it just doesn't seem right to fornicate all over Ernie and the Count, though I always thought Prarie Dawn was a straight up freak!

                  Oh yeah, Don Music...sorry. But um, remember Harvey Kneeslapper? The dude with the wild eyes, mustache and blonde hair? He scared me...it was his teeth and his shrill voice.

                  I remember Ernie singing "Who are the Insects in your Neighborhood" "Imagine That" and "The plant song" (I have a little plant...I always give her water, cuz you see, she really loves her water and she says (ting ting) thank you to me...";) Or who can forget the classic "Doin the (coo coo) Pigeon" ahh the good ole days. The good ole days when Elmo was but a red speck; yip yip yip yip yip uh HUH uh HUH, telephone: BRRRRRRRRRRRING!"

                        Although like every kid I loved SS, I just remember jumping up and dancing the minute the theme music came on. It had that funky 70's appeal to it !

                            My mother called me her, "little twiddlebug" when I was younger.

                            I remember the in-between segments mostly, too. Like when they had letters being forged out of solid metal in a factory. Giant glowing H's and I's. That was a hardcore way to learn the alphabet 8)

                              I liked Ladybug Picnic, the Pinball bit, Teeny Little Super Guy, Captain Vegetable.... and Sesame News with Kermit! Is Kermit even on Sesame Street at all anymore?

                              I still have a few Sesame Street songs like Dance Myself to Sleep. I thought that was so damned funny, the sheep dancing around and then carrying Bert outside in his bed. :lol:
