does anyone remember the Canadian sketch comedy series Bizarre? It aired from 1980-1985 and was hosted by American actor/comedian John Byner.
American Actor Bob Einstein (the brother of actor/director/comedian Albert Brooks) also appeared on the series as the producer and also donned the role of Super Dave Osborne in a series of skits which was a hilarious spoof on Evil Kenevel
In 1987, The Super Dave Osborne show spun-off and ran for 5 years, also spinning off a cartoon series called Super Dave's All-Stars
One of my favourite skits on Bizarre was when the actors would wear T-shirts with words on them, and they'd each rip off layers of T-Shirts with more words to get a silent conversation going. Usually the woman would end up topless
Some trivia: In 1980, then unknown comedian Howie Mandel made his TV debut on Bizarre
