I was just wondering are their any rare variations in the original toyline?
because I 've got a couple figures with odd differences for instance I have two orco action figures and the plastic around the metal peg that allows him to spin on both of them is different (one is white and the other is blue.

also is it odd to have figures from malaysia, tiawan, & mexico? because as of right now my collection of 37 action figures(not including the other objects in my possession) contains 4 from mexico, 11 from malaysia, and 9 from taiwan. I've just been wondering about this for a while and I figured that someone on here could help me with this quandry of mine, and please respond to this if you have any answers, I've had more than one thread fall by the way side because no one replied to it thanx in advance.

Well I wouldn't want your thread to go away with no-one answering so I will tell you what I think it is! The Orco's are probably from different years, have you looked at the dates on them? The he-man.org toy section is still under construction, but there is some stuff there and you can always bookmark it for later. (the forums there might be good to ask at too?)

There were a few variations. Its been a while since I was an active collector, so I dont remember which ones off the top of my head. I know Grizzlor had 2 color variations, I think Kobra Khan did as well plus a few weapons variations. You'll want to check out he-man.org for specific info.

Yo. I haven’t heard of an Orko variant but I have only been collecting 3 years. It’s not unusual to find figures from Mexico, Malaysia, or Taiwan - Mattel had all of these and other countries produce figures. To some collectors, the Argentina versions are the rarest. The most popular Argentina variant would probably be the camouflage Cobra Khan

Here are a few rarer variant figures:

                Tung Lashor with painted back.
                Mer-man with orange belt
                Black Grizzlor
Fisto with darker boots and metal colored fist
Man-E-Weapons (rare set of maroon weapons for man-e-faces)
                Half boot Skeletor
hard head Fakor (any fakor is worth getting though)

I don't think it's that rare, cartoonfreak. I have seen those around on eBay.

I think it's comparable to the Mer-man belt variant as far as rarity goes.

He-man collectors really call this figure a mystery. Serious collectors do not believe it was distributed from wonderbread. I came across a link that pictures a wonderbread he-man and sckeletor? was there really a skeletor too?

http://www.geocities.com/thepowersword/ -Pictures are found here? Do you all think there for real?

                            :)
