I remember a Disney channel long ago that used to show Kids shows in the morning and afternoon(Kids Incoporated / Adventures In Wonderland/Mother Gooses Rockin Rhymes)
and kick butt shows for adults at night (British Rock Shows like Ready Steady Go and Beatles movies such as Magical Mystery Tour!) . But now it's full of Kids shows , some good some bad. Do any of you remember this ?

You know, it's funny. When I was a kid I had always wanted the Disney Channel and made every effort to watch it when we got the free previews. I was aware of all the programming from the Prevue Guide channel and thought it looked great. Stuff for kids but adults could watch too. Then when Disney Channel became part of basic cable back in 1998, I was so surpised to see how much it was starting to SUCK. I was so disappointed. It's full of teenybopper crap now. Nickelodeon is the same way now too.

It used to be so awesome......I wish so much they could once again see the benfits of putting on different programming in the evening or even putting actual disney content on the channel, along with including variety in their shows.
*That's it! I'm so gonna be like Angela Bower...except with better clothes.*

I remember when I was alot younger, and living in Texas, I used to ALWAYS watch Adventures in Wonderland...if its the same show Im thinking of, I think it is...anyways, that was my favorite show ever!!

When we moved here to West Virginia right after I turned 5, we didnt have Disney, so no more Wonderland :( so I watched what was then the good Nickelodeon. When we started getting the Disney previews on cable, I would flip out and spend hours on end watching it,

                man, I miss those days

you are incorrect the exact date that the Disney Channel took a turn for the worst was back on this exact date in the United States July 15 2001, that the Disney Channel became a standard channel and was no longer considered a Premium channel and it immediately on that exact date started turning into a crappy channel what with the removal of the Old Disney Channel Face and it's Line Up that was so good back in the day.

I remember that it was this exact date because I remember seeing the commercial's saying that on July 15 2001, The Disney Channel will become part of the standard Level of Service. and it's also because I had the Disney Channel Just Right Before That Date and when it became a Standard Channel I immediately noticed a change in the channels Programming Line Up and such.

Weird. We got Disney and Toon Disney as part of basic cable back in 98. I remember talking about it with my friends during 9th grade gym class.

wow that is strange Ive got Time Warner Cable, and Time Warner is a Major Corporation. I guess their policy is much different then your provider.

That's what I'm thinking, because I do remember us getting it on basic cable sometime in the last quarter of 1998.
