I collected records in the 90's through mail order. I don’t really have any mainstream bands but I do have bands like: spazz, discordance axis, capitalist casualties, crossed out, Neanderthal, f*ck on the beach, etc.

These records have become very rare over the years since they were released by small record labels such as slap a ham. The Neanderthal 7" recently sold for $150 to some collector nerd enthusiast. Wow. Not selling mine though, I love it. I have about 400 vinyl records.

What sort of turntable does everyone use here?

I got a bunch of old 40's swing records from someone but they're 78's and my player (Zenith from 1979) can only play LP and 45. Anyone know of a good 78 player, new or used?

I also have somewhere a Beatles 45 in the original sleeve. I think it's "I Wanna Hold Your Hand" but I'm not certain. Not sure if this is worth anything, most people seemed to discard those sleeves.

I think the coolest record I own is the Slight Slappers 2". Yes, its a small as hell 2" record with cover! Looks like a record for a dollhouse or something. They say it is unplayable.. but I wonder. only 666 made by slap a ham records.
