You're unlikely to have the software for it and probably won't have the hardware either, but here goes...
Educator Homecard for Macintosh, the stack is called "Teacher Resources". You can catalog almost anything on there. I like it for movies, books, music, and software. You can keep movies under the general "classroom" section (as well as music), software under the "software library", and books under "card catalog" or "reading list". You can even use the "supply/equipment inventory" to keep track of your computers, Nintendos, etc. There's also a "textbook inventory", "staff information", and "special education" section that you'd never use for this stuff.
(Please note that I am an up and coming teacher and have had this program for some time now).
The program runs on Mac OS 6 through 9.2. Since new Macs can't run OS 9 you can't use it on them. Most Macs made between 1989 and 2002 should be able to run this without a problem, it will also run fine on some made from 1984-1988 (they may need upgraded) or 2003-2006 (if they can support "Classic" mode--and make sure your printer does too).
I used to use it on my Mac LC but now use it on the iBook G3 with OS 9.
Also, finding it is a problem. It hasn't been sold since around 1992-1993 and never shows up on swap lists/eBay.
