Does anyone have a favorite obscure horror film. Mine would be the movie 'Stuff'. It's a pretty chessy B movie about white stuff that people ate and that controls the mind of individuals except for one boy who happened to see it move while in the 'fridge. Also another move called 'Slugs' (wassup with the one word titles?) about.........drum roll......slugs that mutliply when you cut them. Was gruesome and freaky deaky as a kid. There was one scene where a guy accidently cut one slug up while chopping lettuce for his salad and slugs started coming out of his body......yuck!

Any other movies not many know about but were your favorite horror or horror/comedy?

Night of the Creeps. Aliens, zombies, a serial killer, killer slugs, and horny frat boys. What more could you ask for? Certainly one of the funniest scary movies I’ve ever seen. Also, there’s an old obscure Jim Carrey vampire movie. Anyone remember the name of that one?

I remember Night of the Creeps! It had Jason Lively in it, who was the 2nd Rusty in the National Lampoons Vacation movie. For an obscure movie it was pretty good. Wonderfully 80s.

This one is called Once Bitten. It also starred Lauren Hutton as the main woman vampire. Another great 80's movie. :D

Hey I actually watched The Stuff for the first time this past summer. It was alright, but it just kind of ended without warning. It was waaaay cheesy. The best part was the small mini-commercial that had Clara Peller in it.

I LOVE obscure horror films. I loved Night of the Comet the most! And also Prom Night II was funny also.

Sleepaway Camp 1-3 is my favorite obscure horror film series as well. I heard that at least part of a 4th one was made and never released and that it was basicly softcore porn. I have also heard rumors about a 5th installment called "Return to Sleepaway Camp" but apparently they can't find a distributer.

I've already mentioned it in another thread, but Beware! Children at Play is a great obscure horror film.

Wow. I've seen all of those. No one has mentioned movies like Blood Diner, There's Nothing Out There, Brain Damage, April Fool's Day, Basket Case Trilogy.

I love the evil dead series. The first two scared the hell out of me when I was a kid. I hope they go ahead and do the remake of part 1 and the sequel to army of darkness that was talked about.

hey now, don't forget about Pieces. that movie got banned in so many places, but somehow it ended up at Rogers along with a few others obscure titles. so I have it on DVD (uncut) and VHS (cut to shreds).
