Personally, even though I am a guy. I have gotten sad or teary eyed at things. FFVII almost made me, but when I was 9 and playing FF3, when celes jumped off the cliff and I though she was dead. I cried. Also, the end to cowboy bebop was sad. The saddest movie that made me cry wasn't the lion king or any disney stuff. It was, now get this, I cried while watching The Crow. Because I knew that when he got shot in that one clip, he had really been shot and he died. Brandon Lee, you should'nt have went that way.

First off I would like to say congratulations to Ronald MacKinnon for not only holding the prestigious ranking of "Retro Junkie" but also being a fellow Canadian, I'm not saying it's the best country in the world but it is the best nation to live in North America, at least North of Mexico and not Cuba, just kidding! (yeeessss......)

ANYWAYS!!!!!! When I was a kid I was a huge panzy and momma's boy! (see Americans I can laugh at myself too!) so any movie where the parent died I couldn't handle, Free Willy also made me cry when they banged on the glass and the lead didn't want to be friends with Willy anymore. But I eventually grew out of it and became a sarcastic teenager and eventually adult who never cries anymore. Until I saw Schindler's List!!!! Holy crap!! I cried because it was a true story and at the end when he's saying "I should have sold the car...this pin, etc." I lost it and cried for the first time (seeing a movie anyways) in over ten years at least! It is a hard movie to watch!

The episode of Sailor Moon where Tuxedo Mask died made me cry and I was only 9 when I watched it. I think I also cried at the end of Free Willy
Looks like I picked the wrong week to stop sniffing glue

Homeward bound...at least the first three times I saw it. When shadow falls down the hole.

                ET....I don't really know why.

I cried when Lain from Serial Experiments Lain erased herself from the world and became a god. She had done so much to keep what was left, but everything went wrong. I cried so much becoz of it.
Also the ending of Strange Dawn when the heroines leave without ending the war, leaving their friends behind, even though the army might kill them. But those are recent cries.
When I was little, I remember a movie about a girl trying to help a ghost die finally. I cried when he actually did.
I cried becoz of Breath Of Fire 2, when I realised my heroes from Breath Of Fire 1 were all dead.
And I remember that when I realised that when I would finish The Legend Of Zelda: Link's Awakening, all of that world would fade away, I refused to play. I eventually did, and especially the part when Marin fades made me cry.
If anyone can help me get my hands on King Arthur and the Knights of Justice episodes (other than the first five which were released on DVD way back in 2004), please contact me (PM). I really want to see this show again.

OK, only four things have ever made me cry from a movie or a TV show.

                      1. The Lion King, that had to make a young little boy cry, who didn't cry when they saw it for the first time? When Mustafa died you had to cry come on.

                      2. Angels in the Outfield, I forgot what I cried about in that movie all I remember was I was crying during that movie.

                      3. Full House, the episode where Jesse is going to move and he gives Michelle the pink bunny and she gives him her stuffed pig and then they both shed a tear, man that's just heartbreaking.

                      4. The New Adventures of Winnie the Pooh, folks let me just say this, the episode where Rabbit takes care of Cessie or whatever her name was the blue bird, I just can't make it through the whole episode the sad parts just make me cry. Like when he thought that the bird was dead, her figuring out that she can fly and then HE DISSES HER, and then when she leaves just wow. I think that is the only animated soap opera ever, but you have to watch that whole episode to shed a tear.

I won't lie. I cried at the end of A tigger movie. For some reason the End song made me tear up like a little bitch. Damn you Kenny Loggins!

I cried when the Cosby Show went off in 92. Talk about unexpected!

This one is kind of cheesy, but the scene in Who Framed Roger Rabbit where Christopher Lloyd drops the little animated shoe in hte bucket of acid. I bawled my eyes out during that scene when I was a kid

                              M*A*S*H the movie

When they were helping Painless(The Dentist) help kill himself. i had to stop the tape there and sob away. just to restart back to see that Dish (Jo ann Pflug) get her thing on (NOT shown) to save his life and see him alive the next day (Act).

Kinda Ironic when you think about it.

ah yes, that indeed was a traumatic scene when I was young. Every time I see the movie again, I just go make a sandwich or something during that scene.

Didn't really cry, but wanted to when Littlefoot was looking for his mother in The Land Before Time.

Who didn't get teary eyed watching that scene?

                                    Movies I cried

Sea Prince and the fire child
                                    Sad.

                                        - An American Tail.
                                        - Angels In The Outfield (when the kid from Third Rock From The Sun and the other kid get adopted by Danny Glover)
                                        - The episode of Quantum Leap where Al gets to go and fix everything with his wife. It still gets me.
