    		 I've watched allot of disaster movie's like:
    Volcano
    Dantas Peak
    the core
    Armageddon
    Deep Impact
    The Day After Tomorrow

    There all great films and makes you wonder if it would ever happen but my question is, its possible which everyone knows. I don't think about it but I'm wondering if like top secret governments have ever thought up or built any survival plans to save the earth that we don't know about. I would really hope so other wise if any thing did happen like any of these films we would be seriously screwed. But there great to watch and really keep you on the end of your seat.

                but in some seriousness, i think that the government has shown that they aren't that well prepared for natural disasters *cough* Katrina *cough*, now if given fair warning in the case of an asteroid or something of that nature, i think some plan of action would be made to some sort of success

                    		 How about a movie from the 70's called "The Day After". It was about nuclear war and the following weeks after. I remember watching it as a young child seeing everyone vaporize when the nukes hit, pretty intense back then.
