If you have Digital Cable or Satelite, I suggest watching the Nick Gas channel. And sorry about the Purple Parrots and monkeys thing, they were the teams on Legends, ya know, the Silver Snakes, Orange Iguanas, Blue Baracudas, etc.
Trying to explain these shows is kind of hard, you have to watch them again to actually reboot your memory. Like the Double Dare obstacle course thing at the end of the show, there were like 8 or more or less obstacles full of messy stuff, and to move on to the next obstacle you would have to reach for a flag, reach the end of the obstacle, or dig through sticky messy junk like a giant PB and J sandwich in which you would have to dive into and look for a small orange flag. There would also be giant pizzas and cakes and dog food bowls filled with Coco Puffs.
And during the basic begining part of the show players would just have to do things to fill up buckets or tubes with slime or toss something messy into a bucket helmet on someones head.
Guts would have a lot of bungge wire jumping using harnesses, but some events they would have to use 3 wheeled bikes in which you are low to the ground and one wheel is in front of you and you would get through the track as fast as you can and burst through a wall at the end. There would also be events where teams would have to block balls or objects or get through a water event. My favorite part was at the end of the show where the players would have to climb the Crag and push butons to get to the top. Guts was even better when it went global, anyways...
Legends would have events that went along with the history the show was teaching, like something with Cleopatra or Shakespeare or Christopher Columbus, you get the picture. The events they would ahve to climb up very high walls by pressing their feet against the the two walls and puching and pulling up and dropping somethng at the top, or they would have to stay on something like a mechanical bull, which was just a barrel in the middle of 4 ropes which worked the same way.
There is just so much, and i'm forgetting like...A LOT of the events, your best bet is to find a way to watch Nick GAS. |
