They tried to go that route in the third one with "Talk to the hand" and other timeless classics.

Terminator 3 was a disappointment, especially since T2 was a classic action-movie with real quality. T3 was but a standard Hollywood flick that entertains for one view and is then forgotten. A lot of bang'n'shine, but very little real content. I could see what was coming miles away simply because I had seen it all previously in 10 other films.

Almost like watching a recycled movie in different clothes. Which it probably was, knowing how the producers try to favour proven techniques and already existing stuff.

Well to me the plot was too complicated maybe not so much to Terminator fans but these films aren't just for us there for every one and normal cinema goers aren't gonna enjoy a film if you don't have a clue what hell is going,I mean the Terminator plots complicated enough let alone saying things like "you only postponed the war". The film for me seemed to make up everything as they went along and the worst thing was the humour was far too much and when there was it was embarrassing atleast with T2 it was more tongue in cheek rather than plain childish. I just thought it was terrible,I felt sorry for Arnie and I wish he had nothing to do with it.

This is exactly the same thing with the difference between X2 and X3.

I didnt think it was terrible but I know alot of people who didn't enjoy it. Do you think it had anything to do with the fact that the terminator was sassy?

i did like the action in the movie but, that whole nano transmiter thing that the female terminator had was pretty stuiped. How she could control those cars with her cpu made no sense whatsoever. im not one of those "its not realistic!" people when i watch a movie but cmon...that was lame and it needs to be called.

Yeah and there were no technological innovations like in the first two. It was all a rehash which I guess is very fitting for this decade.

T3 wasn't a bad movie. It just wasn't a great sequel. I loved the action sequences, and the fact the new Terminator was a chick. And an extremely hot one at that. I was just glad it didn't have Furlong in it. (did I spell that right?)

Overall, it was a good movie. We get to see how strong a Terminator really is, and finally see the beginning of the war. I always loved the glimpses we see of the war torn future between the human resistance and the machines.

Anyone know anything about the Terminator tv series coming out?
