dg 8 years 16 hours ago Posts: 473 Account Disabled	I think it was a terrible sequel to an amazing film before which was T2. I mean it had far greater special effects and T2 was just starting get better with it at the time yet T3 seems so tiny in epicenes it didn't seemed to use it to full advantage and over was just sucked big time. I think it was down to the script which was too similar to T2 when really they should have based it in the future war. Also I think it was down to a wrong director when it should have been someone with a few more great action flicks under their belt so they know what there doing and not giving the audiences the same film again. And also get a decent cast with Linda and Eddie not returning that to me was one of the most disappointing things about the film because it really needed their return for it be half as good as the previous film. It felt as if the producers thought that Arnie was the one person that was gonna make it succsesful and it didnt happen becuase you need more thna one decent star. I was looking so forward to this film and ttoally sucked.I would have chosen a couple of directors which have made T3 successful and they are.JAMES CAMERON of course,Roland Emmerich would've been great,Ridley Scott would have been great as well,who would you have chosen.

They should have just stuck with 1 and 2 and left it at that. If they carry on i will go the same way as the movie critters it will just carry on and get worse each time.

dg 8 years 15 hours ago Posts: 473 Account Disabled	Yeah apparently they have planned to make a T4 but Arnie's part in is small basically a cameo but they say is a good one. I wouldn't want any one replacing him but can any one remember when Franco Columbu played a future terminator I don't mind if some actor does that because they looked more covered up and don't seem as if there trying to steal the lime light.I just hope if they do make a a T4 that they get a decent director and base it in the future. Has any one noticed as well we've never seen SKYNET in any of the films even with all the impressive CGI but it was shown in the T2-3D ride.

dg 8 years 14 hours ago Posts: 473 Account Disabled	I remember when it came out it was in competition with matrix reloaded and reloaded totaly blew to pieces. I was so dissapointed becuase I am a Terminator fan and I wanted T3 to kick Reloaded's ass because there was so much hype and it stealed T3's lime light and it wasnt hard to work out why.

Unfortunately, studios are more interested in making an extra buck than preserving the integrity of a franchise. Then again, they are a business and need to make a profit, but some sequels just shouldn't be made. IE Alien Resurrection, Ocean's 12 (and probably 13), MI:2, Transporter 2, Batman 3 & 4, Rocky V, and the list goes on....

System 8 years 3 hours ago Posts: 74809	I loved T1 and T2 very much. the script, special effects and sound score was amazing. they were both flawless and T2 has a timeless feel to it. it still whips the ass script/special effects wise of nearly any action/sci fi movie made to date. T3 was an ok movie. the sound score sucked. Also, i found the female robot to be a bit stuiped and unbelievable. Arnold was a trooper and did his best but, lets face it.. he is getting older. He did bring a lot of class to this movie though. John Conner wasnt played by the same actor as he was in T2... no excuse for a franchise like the Terminator. there was some decent action sequences [ gun fights, car chases/crashes, fight scenes and explosions] while others looked too CGI and fake. I liked some of the dialogue too...when they wernt trying to be funny. To me, the haunting nuclear war scenes were awesome to look at and some of the best parts of this movie. i loved how John conner was talking calmly then they cut to the sound of a nuclear ICBM screaming then exploding violently over a major city. The scene where skinless T-800 terminators are marching through the nuclear ashes of a future LA exterminating anything that moved was too cool. i don't wanna sound crazy but, i enjoyed seeing the end where those ICBMs were shooting up from the silos and you could see mushroom clouds peppering the globe. There was something really scary but awing about these parts of T3.

T3 was actually the first one of the 3 that I saw for some reason, so when I first saw it I thought it wasn't so bad and wanted to watch the first 2. However, after actually seeing the first 2 they made the third look horrid and inconsistent with the series.

Nah, I was referring to the the composer of Potter not Daniel Radcliffe or any of the actors.
