    I know you guys at retrojunk will know! no doubt its been brought up before.
    But I'm trying to work out what these toys were called.

    I can only describe;
    little rubber figures with little shields on their torso that had holograms in them.
    The holograms would reveal their hidden power. they weren't poseable or anything. Think some of them had animal heads.

    Its driving me mad! Anyone :?:

      After extensive searching Ive answered my own question

      http://www.toyarchive.com/BattleBeasts/Figures/Figures.html

      although I'm sure there was another type where the figures were all one colour (except the little hologram)

            I used to love playing with my friends Battle Beasts at school, I had one friend who almost had a full set. Unfortunately I only ever had one of them (the giraffe).

              Battle Beasts were produced and distributed by Takara in Japan (under the name "BeastFormers";) and by Hasbro outside of Japan.
              In the Japanese market the toys were branded as a spin-off of Transformers.

                  My pin pal in Japan gave me some Japanese Transformers when I was a kid.
