Please, somebody, I feel like I'm going crazy. If someone has heard of this show, please respond. Otherwise, I'll be forced to drag you all into my own delusions.

I know I've posted before, AND I have looked up and down the forum section, and YES I used the search feature, and I understand that posting a message like this is a last result. But seriously, nobody has heard of this show, other than one person on a message board a year and a half ago. I e-mailed him, HE STILL DOESN'T KNOW.

Okay, the show was about this kid and his friend who had a magic exercise bike in their shed. I remember them pulling the blanket off of it, like they were hiding it, and one kid put on these gold gloves, and they both got on the bike and traveled through other worlds and helped people.

That's all I remember, plus a little in there of what the other guy knew. If I don't find SOME trace of this show on the internet, on TV, or elsewhere, I will literally lose my mind.

    Thank you.

You mean a live action show, not a cartoon, right? Hmmm... could you start maybe by narrowing down the channels it might have been on? Was it possibly a cable show or more like a UPN or PBS show? If you can't find anything else I'd say maybe try Stump the Shark...

It's called StoryLords. It was on PBS. This kid wore a ring that would start flashing or glowing when he needed to travel to another time, or "story" if you will. Yeah, and he put on these weird boxing gloves of some sort and start riding the bike then he'd go to some other dimension or something. I was recently talking about this show with a guy at work. We both used to watch it in elementary school, around '85-'86. I wish I could remember more about it.
          (what's my prize?)

As for the prize, that was a con to lure people in to my snare.

Thank you, my dementia has ceased.

Well, Lindsey was the one that got it right, not me. But I wouldn't say no to a pack of gum anyway.
