Anyone remember the TV series Night Heat? 
It was a Canadian produced police drama starring Canadian born actors Jeff Wincott and Scott Hylands. It aired on CTV from 1985-1991.
The show also aired on CBS in the United States, and was the first Canadian-produced drama series to air on an American network.
