Gundam_Warrior 9 years 3 months ago Posts: 589	Well both movie were better than The Wiz but I had to choose which one I like better it would be the Wizard of Oz. It's a classic film I do admire Return to Oz though trying to get the "darker" (this is what I've been told by Oz fans) tone of the books but still even with the Wizard of Oz still my favortive fantasy musical is Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory.

I go for the Wiz....I could dance and sing to that movie, plus it has michael when he was still "black" "Ease on down the road...."

System 9 years 3 months ago Posts: 74809	LOL The Wiz. That movie scared me when I was little. I remember they get to a gas station and all of these trash cans or something start chasing them... And Michael Jackson was the Scarecrow, wasn't he? Oh, and whoever played the Tin Man was awesome. Ha and the witch gets flushed down a giant toilet in the end.

Dr Science 9 years 3 months ago Posts: 537	Man this to me is like picking a favorite STD. I think that both of these movies suck big time. I like The Wizard of Oz with Pink Floyd's The Wall qued up, then it's a good movie.

Badkitty 9 years 3 months ago Posts: 922	Hands down the original Wizard of Oz. I can't sit through return to OZ it's horrible. I know all the songs from the original. No one ever wants to watch it with me because I sing the whole time and they can't hear the movie, just like Grease and Willy Wonka.

System 9 years 2 months ago Posts: 74809	in my opinion they are both just as good and i hope one day Tim Burton would remake the wizard of oz but make it more sinister because i watched the first movie the other day and i realised it seemed a bit to child like , just think of it a world with witches , talking scarecrows , tin men just seems disturbing to me
