    		 I was wondering how many of you saw this movie and how many of you liked it. I remember watching it a few years ago and man was it freaky. It's about Jacob (Tim Robbins) who is a Vietnam "veteran." During his time in 'Nam, he was subject to a new drug that would supposedly enhance the troops fighting abilities and what not. Flash forward a few years. He's a mail room letter sorter (or something along those lines), he has a girlfriend, and a flash back problem that hints at PTSD (Post traumatic stress disorder). He tries living his life as best he can, but the flash backs and other problems take their toll on him mentally. He starts seeing things he doesn't believe he is seeing, and things get stranger from there.

    Pretty much this movie was harshly underrated. I recommend picking it up sometime. However, it's not a "family movie" and definately not for children.

      		 I remember two things about that movie.

      One him strapped down to the OR table and all the doctors that are about to operate on him have no eyes.That was freaky.The second was when his girlfriend was doing the hot dance and she started turning into a demon or something.That was feaky and......ohhhh a little hot :lol:

        		 As a horror/Thriller film buff I must say I agree this is definately a GREAT movie. Not to mention very very spooky and thought provoking. Some of the imagery in the movie is very disturbing. If you are horror of thriller fan and have not seen this it is a must buy DVD. I would put this film in my top 20 no questions asked.

          		 I saw it when I was younger and did not understand it. I guess it sounds like it is worth another try.

            		 i saw parts of this movie once when i was in like middle school on cable and loved it. i finally bought the DVD sometime last year and sat down to watch the whole thing. great movie!

                		This movie was pretty freaky when I saw it as a young'n. I actually haven't seen it in a looooong while, but between this movie and The Serpent and/in the Rainbow, it was toooo mach :shock: ! I'll just have to go back and watch it again to truly break it down.
