System 8 years 2 months ago Posts: 74809	The other day I mentioned to a friend that McDonald's had pizza at one time but my friend doesn't remember McDonald's ever ahving pizza. Does anyone else remember McDonald's having pizza at one time? I was about 7 years old at the time of this memory about 1993.

I Remember a Specific Mcdonalds that Served Pizza that was Located in a Small Town that You Drive Past When Your Driving from State to State and it even had a Sign for it on the Road that Said Mcdonalds Next Exit and The Sign Said that They Serve Pizza at that Mcdonalds!

Here's proof it existed: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qj9LJT6UoHM&mode=related&search= 26 second mark, there it is. They used to have ads for it on the boards of the Montreal Forum and the Pacific Coliseum in Vancouver during the latter part of the 1992-93 NHL season.

tim 8 years 2 months ago Posts: 65	Yeah different McDonalds tend to have different things that tend to vary from region to region. I know when I was in the Marine Corps I stayed in Okinawa for six months and their McDonalds had hot dogs, some sort of cake or pie, and a bunch of other crazy stuff along with the regular menu options. I found a McDonalds in Indiana where they serve Biscuits and gravy! I'm from M.A. originally and never seen that before!

When I'm reminded of McDonald's Pizza, the first thing I always remember was that back in those days, the NHL rinks in Montreal and Vancouver had the ad on their boards. So I searched for any video from that time period involving those rinks and I found one from the Canadiens celebrating their Stanley Cup win in 1993. All I had to do after that was wait until I could see the ad.
