Boomerang needs more 60s-80s shows. Those is what I grew up with. I never cared for most 90s cartoons and I don't find any cartoons from that decade retro yet especially the late 90s ones. If they show Batfink, I'm going to cry because I really missed that show.

Seriously, I do not want to see cartoons my baby brother watched in the 90s. I will get it in two months and they don't have any 80s (or 70s) cartoons on there?

Yeah, for real. But seriously there isn't too many 70s/80s cartoons on Boomerang. I see a lot of 60s, 90s and early 2000s shows.

Yeah, I looked up the schedule. I wasn't impressed. I felt as if I was checking out the schedule for Nicktoons (which my son watches) rather than a retro cartoon network. It looks similar to TVLand, which when it began had so much promise. Now, it just irks me.

Yeah, how in the hell Dexter's Laboratory, Pokemon, What's New Scooby Doo, Baby Looney Tunes and Mike, Lu and Og retro? They aren't that old. They can improve their channel by adding some 70s/80s cartoons.

Great, just as I got the Animaniacs Vol 1 DVD, it just had to go back on the air. I really want to get Boomerang now.

Well, I don't think Animaniacs is that old (13 years old). It's an alright show but they could of at least wait a couple years for that. Same with Batman the Animated Series.

Yeah, Boomerang RARELY show 80s cartoons. They go into the 40s-70s then into the 90s and early 2000s. That sucks big time. But I wish they would take off tripe like Baby Looney Tunes, Duck Dodgers and What's New Scooby-Doo, those shows aren't even 5 years old.[/quote]
How can you not like Duck Dodgers?!!!Daffy rocks!!!Duck Dodgers is my favorite show on Boomerang.

Omg it has Wait Til Your Father Gets home?!?!?!?
To be honest, I don't know. I used to watch this when Cartoon Network aired it years ago on "Retro Wednesdays", or whatever it was called. I also don't get the station.

I think CN and Boomerang's stations are owned by Time Warner, that's probably why about 90% of what they show is HB stuff.

No idea, but I do remember watching the Mr. T cartoon back in the 80s. I think it aired on the USA Cartoon Express later on. I can't recall what station it originally aired on (too young to remember). I wouldn't be surprised if it aired on NBC, though, since it was a Ruby-Spears show or whatever. Alvin & the Chipmunks aired on NBC, and Mr. T had a cameo for one ep.

I'm pretty sure good ol' Millionnaire Ted Turner owns all the Hanna-Barbera cartoons and thus, Cartoon Network and Boomerang....I won't turn that channel on forever and then when I do, they are showing the same thing I was watching the last time it seems....it's all good, but doesn't seem like there is enough variety....

Boomerang does need more variety, but since they are owned by Warner, I guess that's not happening.

It doesn't matter if it's good or not, it's not retro for god sakes. Anyway, Boomerang's shows are basically just the exact same shows CN aired before 2000. I say we make RetroTV, we could put old Saturday Morning cartoons from the 70's throughout the early 90's. It can't be too hard to start your own cable channel, right? We just need someone who knows how to do it.

I wonder if they'll premire The Busy World of Richard Scarry given that nickelodeon no longer has rights to that show. Nick doesn't even have the rights anymore to show it on a digital channel.

I think Warner would have to buy the rights to the show. And OldSchoolNickRules, I think that is a good idea but I was thinking more like 60s-80s.

Boomerang does have too many HB cartoons. I think too much HB cartoons make me puke after a while. They need more variety, like more shows from other companies.

Boomerang should make their line-up like the Cartoon Express. They need to get rid of Dexter's Laboratory, Mike, Lu and Og, Baby Looney Tunes, Tom and Jerry Kids and all of the other non retro/classic shows and add some more shows into the line-up. The reason why I say that is because those shows are too recent to be on Boomerang in my opinion. But I love watching Batfink! They should also add Dragon's Lair and Inspector Gadget.
