      Yeah, Boomerang RARELY show 80s cartoons. They go into the 40s-70s then into the 90s and early 2000s. That sucks big time. But I wish they would take off tripe like Baby Looney Tunes, Duck Dodgers and What's New Scooby-Doo, those shows aren't even 5 years old.

          I've noticed that for years. It seems that they always randomly skip over the 80s, even before there was a Boomerang station and CN used to just show toons (as in, not their originals). I used to complain a lot about it as a kid, even though I didn't mind watching the older stuff.

            It doesn't seem like that to me, in fact there is some cartoons from the 80s that Boomerang said they will premire. On Monday they are gonna premire Garfield and friends and Wikipedia said that they are going to air Alvin and the Chipmunks. also if the rumor about Boomerang airing Dic cartoons is true then they will air The Super Mario Bros Super Show which is from 1989 and Dinosausers which is in 1987. But what the heck do I know I don't get Boomerang (neither did I get CN until 2002).

                  it just seems like a station like that should be jam-packed with classic toons from past era's. They show multiples episodes of crap sometimes..

                      Garfield is indeed airing next Monday on Boomerang. I checked the schedule on my cable box. I think it's awesome that they're starting to show Garfield on TV again. I've got most DVD's, but it'll be better to see it on TV again. :D

                        Well Batfink is gonna air tomorrow at 12:00 so if you have Boomerang, set your VCRs or DVRs to record this show.

                            Boomerang needs more 60s-80s shows. Those is what I grew up with. I never cared for most 90s cartoons and I don't find any cartoons from that decade retro yet especially the late 90s ones. If they show Batfink, I'm going to cry because I really missed that show.

                              Seriously, I do not want to see cartoons my baby brother watched in the 90s. I will get it in two months and they don't have any 80s (or 70s) cartoons on there?

                                Yeah, for real. But seriously there isn't too many 70s/80s cartoons on Boomerang. I see a lot of 60s, 90s and early 2000s shows.

                                  In my opinion, I feel that Boomerang would be a better station if wasn't run in the way that it was. There are way too many HB toons on it, and there really isn't much variety. They really ought to show some more rare stuff.

                                  I don't get the station, but it doesn't bother me that I don't since there isn't much on there I wouldn't want to see anyway, 'cept for shows like Johnny Quest, Flinstones, or Wait Til Your Father Gets Home, etc. I want to see some obscure cartoons, stuff aside from HB.

                                    Yeah, a lot of the HB shows are shown a lot. They need to get more 80s toons.

                                      Omg it has Wait Til Your Father Gets home?!?!?!?

                                      Anyway I think there's a lot of HB cartoons is because it was a huge cartoon network (ha..) in the '60s. I'm pretty sure I'm wrong, tho -_-;;

                                      The last time I watched Boomerang in the States they had a Mr. T mystery cartoon on it. Do they still show it? It was amusing 8)

                                          Yeah, I looked up the schedule. I wasn't impressed. I felt as if I was checking out the schedule for Nicktoons (which my son watches) rather than a retro cartoon network. It looks similar to TVLand, which when it began had so much promise. Now, it just irks me.
