    Anyone remember this classic?

It was produced by Konami and for all intents it felt like a spin-off of Contra. The game is set in the wild west and you have the choice of a few players each with their own weapon speciality.

What I liked most about the game was the level design. Very colorful, animated but also quite interractive.

The boss levels were quite challenging too but uniquely designed at the same time.

The music was also ass kickin'. I recently found a metallized version of the game's theme which can be downloaded from Megadriver.

The Megadriver version of the song reminds me a great deal of the german speed-power band Running Wild (one of my all-time favorite bands).

The two guys in the saloon throwing sticks of dynamite at you. It was rather later in the game towards the end.

The bad guys were on either side of the stairway in the saloon and it was rather tough to beat them ... one way of doing it was to jump onto the swinging lamp wheels and shoot them sideways

The hard way was to stay on the ground floor, duck their fire and shoot at them like crazy.

I'm sorry but I can't remember their names, nor of any of the other characters.

I also liked the arcade version a lot better than the SNES version. The graphics were so much better than on the SNES conversion and the screen would get filled with more baddies to take down.
