Does anyone still collect SNES games? I have a collection going, these games are so much fun to play. Super Mario All-Stars and Super Metroid are my favoite games.

And did anyone check out the GBA when it was in its must have run? It was a rebirth of Super Nintendo but on a handheld system; all of the classic SNES games were released on it, with the exception of Super Metroid, the whole reason I bought a GBA for because of Metroid Fusion. I don't think Super Nintendo will ever die, although some people think it has............

I loved Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past and Mario Kart. Still play em sometimes, think I got all of NES and SNES on emulator. I don't collect any video games, but I never really need to. My older brother has stockpiles of stuff, he runs the East Coast Gaming Expo.... http://www.ecgx.com/

I have a small collection of SNES games. All in all, I think it's my favorite system. The NES was more popular, so you find more about it on retro pages like this, But the SNES holds a very special place in video game history. It's waaay better than the Sega Genesis, anyway.

I like all old school games and systems, but the Super Nintendo does have the strongest hold in my heart. A lot of NES games were remade for the SNES, and a lot of SNES games were remade for GBA, when will it all end?

I'm looking forward to the upcoming Nintendo Revolution, in which you can download any old Nintendo game to your system for free. I guess games that weren't made by Nintendo you would have to pay a small fee for, but i'd still do it anyway. :D

I will give Nintendo my first born son if they will just release Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars on the GBA.

(Heh, well I want a daughter anyway :P)

I played a lot of Mortal Kombat 2. Back then I knew how to do ALL the special moves and fatalities for Kitana.

I lost my touch for all of them fighting games like Mortal Kombat and Killer Instinct. I used to be unbeatable, now I suck eggs and I can't manage one combo to save my life. :? Damn growing up..........

This is a great system. I still buy games for it at a local store for like 5 bucks each. Probably have like 60 nes games so far and about 40 snes. Still looking for that holy grail that is ogre battle because I refuse to play the playstation version or pay the ridicolous prices on ebay. Great games like super mario kart and nba jam keep it sweet. Also maximum carnage is good. Also for NES battletoads was awsome (still is cause i still have it)among others like super marion brothers 2 which is my favorite of the marios (ironic since it was not suppose to be a mario game). Come on you can play as toadstoll TOADSTOOL!!

I'm currently collecting them again myself. I sold the ones I did have back in 2000 for a sega saturn system. Now I just check ebay to get all the ones I enjoyed as a kid which where mostly concidered classics by everyone.

I love SNES, been collecting games for it for over 10 years. I have 115 games for it, and there are still a few more I need to track down.
