were the sh*t. everybody loves a dunkaroo. tasted just like a teddy graham, except they had icing. mmmmmm.

ok and this is for anyone on the east coast below new jersey....
the grocery store called FOOD LION used to make their own candy bars, and they had chocolate, almond, crispy, and peanut butter. They were very good to be so generic, and they only cost $.25 in the store. excellent. does anyone remember those?

Dunkaroos, Dunkaroos, as much chocolate as you choose...

I loved those. Did you swirl your finger around the icing cup to get all the last of it, too?

Yeah, the Japanese ones. Everyone just calls them Koala Cookies, but apparently they're official name is Koala March.

Do any of you have a picture of the Dunkaroos that were produced in the US? I want to know if they're the same as the ones we had in Australia. I think we still have them, actually... I'll check it out at the supermarket.

I actually got a Dunkaroos today. I went to A&W and they gave me one by accident even though I didn't order a kids pack (which they usually come with)

                        Thanks for the imagery, Derrick.

The Dunkaroos that we had (have?) in Australia had a cartoon kangaroo as well, but not the same one. Also, the pack was slightly wider than that, so you get more cookies. The icing part was much narrower though, so you really got hardly any choc at all. You always had two or three cookies left over without any chocolate satisfaction.

Oh and Mystie, cool avatar pic. We don't actually have Pudding Pops in Australia, but we have a very similar product with a very similar logo, known as Paddle Pops:

They come in all the standard ice cream flavours, as well as numerous promotional/limited edition flavours. The best flavour is rainbow; so psychedelic. Another favourite of mine, unfortunately no longer available, was the Pawprint Paddle Pop, which was chocolate with a vanilla icing shell, and chocolate paw prints all over it (the product's mascot is a lion, known as the Paddle Pop Lion- very creative).

what i remember about dunakaroos is sticking my tongue in the dip where the icing was and licking it all out. at least, thats what we did in my town.

I liked the chocolate dunkaroos better than the ones with the white frosting. When I was little my friends and I use to dunk our hani snaks bread sticks in the frosting when we ran out of cheese.

I used to love dunkaroos. Those and Koala Yummies were my favorites.
