    Hey retro junkies!

I just wanted to let everyone know that I submitted part 4 of my 4-part series on the revival of "Saturday Night Live" in the 1980s. While I am sad to bring the series to an end, I am thrilled that I finally finished the manifesto, which has taken me a month to complete. This one had more pictures than I knew what to do with. anyway, when it is posted, I will begin work on my next article.

It's a toss-up between the "Nude Beach" controversey and "The Stand Ups." I may do "The Stand-Ups" first, since it is a light article (but not light on the jokes or pictures). "Nude Beach" will be next. I already started "The Stand-Ups."

I am constantly looking for interesting ideas - let me tell you what I'm planning on.

    Seasonal articles:
    A "Saturday Night Live" Christmas
    Saturday Night Live Halloween

    Video Review
Saturday Night Live Wayne's World Special

A "Get to Know the Guru" Article

Controversial SNL moments (Nude Beach gets its own article - it's particularly interesting, and I have some sources for it)

Anyway, tell me what you think - Here's to my next article being posted soon! Good luck to my fellow writers on their articles!!!!! Here's to getting approved!

    Allison :-)

Good to see you again, Allison. You've been away for a few weeks. How's it going?

Anyway, I have an article idea for you:

I know it's not really your thing, but could you possibly do an article about the Dick Ebersol years of the show (1981-1985)? That was my favorite era of SNL, due to the reruns I saw on Comedy Central in the late 90s, and I think that more credit should be given to this era of the show's history. Who better to do it than you?

I actually dont have any source material for it, caps. I was away working on my manifesto. However, I could attempt to acquire something, no matter how small, to write a tribute, no matter how painful it is for me. LOL.

LOL! Yup back after a five day trip of sorts.

Of course, I've been reading the others. I sent you my thoughts at your myspace account. I asked if you could give me your resume like Caps did for me (Which I'm still going through at the moment. ).

                Happy Halloween Retro Junkies!

Yes, I am here, and have been hard at work on my latest article - I will be submitting it tomorrow. It is a tribute to Dana Carvey - plenty of pictures and lots to tell in the article!

Work has been busy lately - I am working six days this week - but my hours will be cut a little bit next month (3 10 hour days a week as opposed to five 8 hour days a week) I have been working more than forty hours since late August, so I am looking forward to the small break before I get laid off in December.

I look forward to hearing from everyone when my next article goes up. I'll talk to everyone soon!
